Why do my beds keep growing weeds through the mulch?
Usually one of three reasons: no pre-emergent barrier under the mulch, mulch thinned below the depth that blocks light, or weeds seeding in from untreated edges. A working program fixes all three at once — which is why ours pairs applications with mulch management.
Is the treatment safe around my existing plants?
That is exactly why we use three tools instead of one. Pre-emergents are selected for what is planted in the bed, spray is targeted rather than broadcast, and around tender or edible plantings we simply weed by hand. The plant list drives the chemistry, never the other way around.
How often do beds need treatment?
Pre-emergent two to three times a year on the germination windows, with touch-up treatment and hand work riding along on regular maintenance visits. Consistency is the whole game — beds that are treated on schedule stay clean; beds treated "as needed" always need it.
