Sod Installation Questions
How long until new sod is established?
Roots typically start knitting into the soil within two to three weeks in growing season. We will give you a watering and mowing schedule for those first weeks — follow it and the transition from sod to lawn is almost invisible.
Sod or seed — which is right for my property?
In North Texas, sod wins for most properties: instant coverage, immediate erosion control, and far less watering drama under city restrictions. Where seeding genuinely fits a project, we offer hydroseeding and will tell you honestly which approach serves you better.
Can you re-sod just the damaged areas?
Yes. Partial re-sods are common after drainage repairs, construction traffic, or shade loss — we blend variety and grade so patched areas disappear into the existing lawn instead of reading like patches.
