Every Application Comes With Its Cleanup
During an ice event, sand buys immediate grip on glazed drives, ramps, and walkways — the difference between a property that functions through the storm and one that closes. We apply where traction is actually needed: slopes, turns, entries, loading areas, the routes people and vehicles cannot avoid.
Then the ice melts and most contractors vanish, leaving grit tracking into lobbies for a month. Our crews come back as part of the same scope: sand swept and collected from walks and drives, entries blown clean, residue off the hardscape, and the property looking like winter never happened.
On posted hours: our office runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5 PM — but winter events don’t. Ice management is dispatched on storm activation, not the office calendar: contracted properties are treated ahead of the front and through the event, whenever it lands.

When is sand used instead of ice melt?
Sand is the traction play: once a hard glaze is down, on surfaces too cold for melt to work fast, or on slopes and turns where grip cannot wait for chemistry. Most real events use both — melt to break the bond, sand to keep things moving meanwhile.
Why does post-storm cleanup matter so much?
Two reasons: appearance and floors. Leftover sand reads as neglect to every visitor for weeks, and what does not get swept outside gets tracked inside, grinding lobby and tenant floors the whole time. Cleanup is not an add-on; it is the second half of doing the job.
How fast after the thaw do you clean up?
As soon as surfaces are clear and dry enough to sweep effectively — typically within days of the melt-off, scheduled automatically as part of the event response rather than waiting on a call from you.
