Commercial Grounds Maintenance
The recurring contract that keeps a commercial property presentation-ready fifty-two weeks a year — mowing and detail, beds and color, cleanups, and the proactive eyes that catch problems before your tenants report them.
Proactive Care, Not Reactive Fixes
Anyone can cut grass. What owners and property managers actually need is a partner who walks the property looking for problems before they show up in a tenant complaint — a bed that is thinning, a drainage spot that is spreading, color that is a season past its best.
That is how our maintenance programs run: dedicated crews on a consistent schedule, a single point of contact who communicates proactively, and recommendations that protect the property’s value long-term rather than padding an invoice.
- Dedicated, consistent crews per property
- Named account manager & proactive walk-throughs
- Enhancements quoted & approved before work begins
- Full-property scope — turf, beds, trees, color, irrigation
What the Contract Actually Covers
Scope is built to the property — this is the core most commercial programs start from.
Season-correct heights, bladed edges on walks and curbs, every surface blown clean.
Pre-emergent, targeted treatment, and hand weeding so beds stay actually clean.
Spring reset and fall leaf passes timed to the property’s tree load.
Annual mulch at working depth; color rotations that keep entries vivid.
Hedges and specimens pruned on species-correct, bloom-safe schedules.
Crews flag irrigation leaks, turf stress, and hazards to your account manager.
Grounds Maintenance Questions
What is included in a commercial grounds maintenance contract?
A typical scope covers property mowing and detail work, bed weed control, shrub care, seasonal cleanups, mulch, and seasonal color rotations, on a schedule that keeps the property sharp every week. Lawn care programs, irrigation service, tree care, and ice management are commonly added under the same contract.
How often will crews be on site?
Weekly through the growing season for most commercial properties, adjusting with growth in early spring and late fall. What matters more than the visit count is consistency — the property should look the same standard of sharp the day before a visit as the day after.
Will we have the same crew every week?
Yes. Consistent crews are how details get caught: a crew that knows your property notices what changed since last week. You also get a named account manager who walks the property and communicates proactively.
How do enhancements and extra work get approved?
Enhancements are quoted separately and approved before work begins — no surprise invoices. Most clients set an annual enhancement budget during the contract so seasonal recommendations can move quickly when you approve them.
